*** Jacob = supporters. In Genesis Chapter 31 they innerstood to go back the the land of Isaac = laughter, rejoicing. This meant to go back to being happy. People were divided = the supporters were divided. The people who support building a nation is stating they were active in that cause. They want to be happy and some reception was not favorable ( Esau.) So they sought to appease those who were not. They perceived about all the skills they gained in their endeavors and the ways they had evolved.
